The Barber Motorsports Park is a 2.38-mile road course that is located in Birmingham, AL. An Indy Car can reach speeds of up to 185mph on this track. There were 34,240 fans in attendance on Saturday which was the most ever in this events history.

The Fan Village was located by trackside and allowed spectators to get hands-on like the pros. Other displays allowed fans to sit in race cars while getting further insight into racing technology.

The Car Corral is a car show that takes place during many Barber events. It is not uncommon to see exotic sports cars and other extreme machinery. Even though the event was plagued by rain, the Car Corral still had an impressive collection of vehicles on display. It rained so much that we actually thought the super boat was about to be launched.

The track visibility was so bad that the drivers could only see just a few feet in front of them. Around 5 pm track officials called the race to be postponed the following day with only 18 laps into the Grand Prix.

Die-hard fans did not let the pouring rain stop them from enjoying a day at the races.

Monday, the weather started off perfect for racing but the rain eventually came back. The kind people from Indy Car and Barber did not charge spectators for attending that day. There was an impressive amount of Indy Car fans that made the postponed event.
