Bloodhound SSC 1000 mph Car Does First Public Test Run

   The Bloodhound SSC is the world’s fastest car in the making. The car is powered by jet and rocket engines that uses an F1 race car motor as the fuel pump. The Bloodhound SSC, recently made it’s first test run at the Newquay Airport in Conwall, UK. The 1.7 mile airport runway was not long enough to reach any significant speeds, but the car did go 0-200 mph in 8 seconds. The Bloodhound SSC team plans on breaking 1000 miles per hour by 2020.
