Car Show: Gardendale, AL 9/16/17

 

This car show was hosted by Guitars and More in Gardendale, AL. We found out about this event through Deidra Quick Trammel on a local radio show. Deidra is an event promoter that announces weekly Alabama car shows and races. Deidra announced this event during the Drag Race Central radio show on 101.1 Super Station. Drag race expert Randall Shew and his son run the talk show from 6am to 8am every Saturday Morning. We met some new friends and enjoyed an evening of car culture.

Tommy Hill is an avid Corvette enthusiast. Tommy owns this 1985 Corvette with tuned port injection. Tommy’s car is pretty much stock besides a performance computer chip. Tommy and his grandson enjoy going to car shows and cruising around town.

This Foxbody Mustang belongs to Paul Hanes. It is a 1993 model and has a 347ci motor. This hot Mustang also has Trick Flow heads, a C4 transmission, 750cfm carburetor, and 3.73 gears.

   Santiago Class is the owner of this amazing 1981 Pontiac Trans-Am. Santiago is the original owner of the car. The car has been named the “Super Bandit 400”. The Super Bandit 400 won two different classes at the World of Wheels Car Show in Birmingham, AL.

Terry Keeton is the owner of this 1941 Willys. It is a kit car that sits on an S10 frame. A late 1960’s Chevy 350 powers the car. We are looking forward to seeing this hotrod when Terry finishes it.

Robert Buffington is the owner of this 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe 2 door. Robert has added several hotrod style features to his car. He has owned the car since 2008. There is a Chevy 307ci motor with three deuces under the hood.

This is a custom 1933 Ford hotrod. It was very cool and had a small block Chevy under the hood.

This is a 2008 Shelby GT500 Cobra and a classic Mach 1 Mustang. These amazing cars are owned by a husband and wife. The Shelby has a 5.4L engine with a 2.9L Twin Screw Whipple blower. The Shelby has a mind blowing 750hp and can be daily driven.
