The Factory Five Racing ’35 Hot Rod Truck is poised to create an intense street presence. Factory 5 Racing has a reputation for making excellent “build it yourself cars”. Their vehicles are known for having aggressive performance hardware and being competitive at the track. The ’35 Hot Rod Truck features all the racing goodies while being practical to cruise around town. The truck has the perfect blend of state of the art performance components while featuring period correct styling.
You can choose to install your own engine platform for your ’35 such as the Ford 302 or 351, 4.6 modular, small block Chevy, or LS series. Factory Five Racing will include the brackets for that engine type in the kit. This truck has a 306ci V8 built by BluePrint Engines. The engine dyno’d at 385hp, which is more than plenty of muscle for this 2380lbs street rod.
The 5′ bed features a functional stainless steel-lined composite tailgate and bedsides. The build kit also includes other body components such as the doors, cab, panels, fasteners, hinges, weather stripping, and trim etc.
This particular ’35 features a clean and well-matched interior. The kit comes with steel framed bucket seats, but the bench seat in this truck adds a cool touch. Other key interior parts that come in the ’35 package are all-weather carpet, pleated door panels, a stitched armrest, Autometer Platnuim electronic gauges, and a wicked banjo-style steering wheel etc.
