Full-Scale Chevrolet Silverado Built By Lego Blocks

A full-scale Lego built Chevy Silverado was revealed at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. This amazing creation was built by a team of 18 Lego master builders at the Lego Group’s Model Shop in Connecticut. The truck is a 2019 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss that will appear in “The Lego Movie 2: The Second  Part.”

It took over 2,000 man hours to complete the project. There were over 334,554 Lego blocks used. The Lego truck weighs a mind-blowing 3,307 pounds which is roughly about 1,000 pounds less than the actual vehicle. This is not the first recreation vehicle that Lego has built for a manufacturer but its the first time they teamed up with Chevrolet.

Last year, Lego built a replica of the Bugatti Chiron super car. The Lego Bugatti is an actual driving car that is capable of doing over 12mph.
