Magic City Octane is one of the best monthly car meets in all of Alabama. The event features extreme vehicles that you would not normally see at other shows. Magic City Octane takes place every 2nd Saturday morning at the Brookwood Village Mall in Birmingham, AL. The popularity of this event has grown to the point that many are traveling from out of town to join in on the action. Even though we arrived towards the end of this particular event, it was still packed with first-class vehicles and fun.
Magic City Octane is teaming up with local car clubs and businesses to bring together car enthusiasts of all ages and makes. Our goal is to better unite the fractured car community within the Greater Birmingham area.
Calling this RX-7 “EXTREME” is for lack of a better word. It is powered by an insane four-rotor engine that makes over 900 horsepower according to the video below.

The C7 Corvette ZR1 has a 6.2L LT5 engine that makes 755 hp and 715 ft-lbs of torque. The ZR1 does 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds with a 212 mph top speed.
This 1993 RX-7 has an LS1 engine from a WS6 Trans-Am. The owner mentioned that he plans on keeping the exterior of the car in stock form.
