Dodge has recently showcased a brand new crate engine at this years SEMA show. The new crate engine is called the “Hellephant” and it packs 1000 horsepower. At this point, Dodge has yet to announce any pricing for one of these monsters.
The Hellephant is an all aluminum supercharged 426 cubic inch beast. It shares similar parts from the Demon and the Hellcat Challenger. The Hellephant is not street legal if it is placed in a 1976 or newer vehicle.
Dodge has this awesome 1968 resto-mod Charger at SEMA on display with a Hellephant under the hood. This car is known as the “Super Charger” and it has a laundry list of mechanical and modern exterior upgrades!
