The Mustang Build That Cost $1,000,000

The “Vicious” began life as a tame 1965 Mustang. Autotopia is a California based company that built this car for their customer to appear in SEMA. The Vicious Mustang has made appearances on popular shows such as Jay Leno’s garage. The build took over 10,000 hours to complete and cost a jaw-dropping $1,000,000.

The car is powered by a 5.2L Aluminator crate engine. The engine is twin-charged which means it has a supercharger and a turbocharger system at the same time. A Magnuson TVS MP2300 supercharger helps boost the car on the low end till a pair of Precision ball bearing turbos spool up on the top-end. This insane engine is mounted to an EMCO CG46 sequential six-speed transmission.

The car makes 1003 horsepower at the rear wheels. The engine was actually detuned 20-30% when it made that number.

The Vicious Mustang was built without air conditioning and sound reduction installation. This thing was built for one main purpose.

The hood was fabricated to fit around the supercharger.

The Vicious Mustang is estimated to do 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 230 MPH.
