Video: Toyota Celica Pikes Peak Version With 850 HP Crashes Off Mountain Side During Leadfoot Festival

The Leadfoot Festival is an annual hill climb event that takes place in New Zealand. This video is from the most recent event that was held in early February. This Toyota Celica belongs to racing great Rod Millen who has also founded the Leadfoot Festival. This car is legendary because it set a milestone record at Pikes Peak in 1994.

This car is powered by a 2.1-liter engine that makes 850 HP. The car starts strong and looks impressive as it dominates the course. At one point the car loses grip and flies off the hillside into the woods. The wreck is terrifying but luckily no one was hurt.
